Growing up by the ocean, I discovered kitesurfing at a young age and quickly became hooked. What started as pure passion led me to compete internationally for several years and eventually represent Mauritius at the Olympic Games; an experience that shaped not only my skills but also my outlook on life.

Today, my greatest drive is to share this passion with others. Teaching kitesurfing is more than showing techniques. It’s about helping people feel confident, safe, and inspired on the water. Nothing compares to seeing a student experience their first ride, their first jump, or simply the freedom of gliding across the ocean.

At We Glide, my mission is to combine professionalism with a genuine love for the sport, creating lessons that are both effective and enjoyable. Whether you’re stepping onto a board for the first time or looking to take your skills further, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Instructor

Dominique has been teaching watersports for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience to We Glide. A lifelong resident of Pointe d’Esny, he knows the lagoon better than anyone and is always eager to share its beauty with others.

Passionate about kitesurfing and dedicated to his students, Dominique combines technical knowledge with an easygoing, positive energy that makes every session enjoyable. His love for life, his patience, and his natural ability to connect with people create the perfect atmosphere for learning and progressing on the water.
