I’m Jean de Falbaire, founder of We Glide. Growing up by the ocean, I discovered kitesurfing at a young age and quickly became hooked. What started as pure passion led me to compete internationally for several years and eventually represent Mauritius at the Olympic Games—an experience that shaped not only my skills but also my outlook on life.

Today, my greatest drive is to share this passion with others. Teaching is more than showing techniques—it’s about helping people feel confident, safe, and inspired on the water. Nothing compares to seeing a student experience their first ride, their first jump, or simply the freedom of gliding across the ocean.

At We Glide, my mission is to combine professionalism with a genuine love for the sport, creating lessons that are both effective and enjoyable. Whether you’re stepping onto a board for the first time or looking to take your skills further, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
